Kylie Lenfestey is a graduate of New Brunswick Bible Institute and Clarks Summit University. She has spent several years working at after school programs, teaching children’s church, and serving at Living Waters Bible Camp. In her free time, Kylie enjoys reading, writing, baking, and riding horses.
Tamra Lenfestey, known to most students as Miss L, is passionate about teaching the Bible and impacting children’s lives. She graduated from a Christian college in Pennsylvania and has had the opportunity to teach in public school for the past several years. Miss L also enjoys participating in Children’s Ministry at church and serving through Christian summer camps.
Terry Backman has her Master’s degree in education and has spent the past 25 years working in public schools as both an ED Tech and a teacher. She also enjoyed serving in children’s ministry at her church for 13 years and is currently attending church in Milbridge. In her free time, Mrs. Backman likes reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is very excited for the opportunity to teach at MVCS this year, where she is able to teach her students about God and His word.
Ed Tech, Music
Mrs. Boldsen has years of experience teaching children in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Good News Clubs. Just before moving to Downeast Maine, she taught Pre-K with Abeka curriculum at a Christian school in Bangor. She has substituted and volunteered in local public schools. Mrs. Boldsen is married and raised three daughters. She has four grandchildren, and she loves to read, write, sew, and crochet.
Sherry Radeka is living her dream as the art teacher. From a young age she has loved all things crafty and colorful. She has years of experience with decorating, painting, and various forms of creativity. Her joy is pointing kids to Christ through His creation. Mrs. Radeka also teaches the Honeybees children church at Machias Valley Baptist Church. She loves to knit, beekeep, and spend time with her two grandsons in her spare time.
Karyssa Norton, known to students as Miss K, is studying Advanced Theological Studies through Carolina College of Biblical Studies. She loves working with kids, and before she had the opportunity to teach Phys. Ed., she spent four years as a counselor at a summer camp, working in a very similar capacity. In Miss K’s free time, she enjoys baking, going to the gym, reading, and writing.
