Do you offer extended care before and/or after school?

Yes. Our doors open at 7:30am and close at 5:00pm. In the morning, students gather in the gymnasium under the supervision of our teachers. MVCS offers an afterschool program from 3:00pm until 5:00pm for working families. Our afterschool care providers offer time on the playground and indoor arts and activities.

Do MVCS students wear a uniform?

MVCS students do follow a dress code, but khakis and skirts are definitely not required. Occasionally, we even wear shorts. We do, however, ask that your dress and appearance not be distracting to the learning environment. Often this is a judgment call on the part of our administration and faculty. In general, we ask for clothing that is not offensive and teaches the Biblical principal of modesty.

How are admissions decisions made?

The School Board and administrator make all admissions decisions on a rolling basis.

Is there transportation offered?

Unfortunately, we do not offer transportation. We do have families in towns all across Washington County that are open to car pooling, so please contact the office if you have transportation needs.

Is there a lunch program?

Yes, and a wonderful one at that. Micaela Wood, our certified kitchen coordinator, along with a group of volunteer parents provide nutritious, homemade mid-morning snacks and lunches to our students. Our price list for food items is available in the office. We do not offer free and reduced lunch.
